Scene 1: Dhaani Prepares for Goad Bharayi
Sweet Love On Starlife Thursday 18th December 2025: The episode opens with Dhaani serving tea to Raj and Prakash. Raj kindly asks Dhaani not to work too much during her wedding functions, promising that he will take care of everything. Dhaani thanks him, and Raj insists she take rest while he touches her feet, a gesture that makes Dhaani smile. She thinks about calling Suwarna and wonders why she hasn’t been in touch. When Dhaani finally calls Suwarna, she invites her to her Goad Bharayi ceremony the next day. Suwarna seems hesitant, recalling Tripurari’s earlier words urging her to enjoy the wedding, but she promises to try and attend. Dhaani hopes everything is okay but is puzzled by the way Suwarna quickly ended the conversation.
Scene 2: Tensions with Kanak
Meanwhile, Dulaari is performing the tilak ceremony for Viplav, about to make him wear the garland, when Kanak steps in and insults her. She mocks the garland, claiming it’s worth only Rs. 10, before demanding that Shalu bring a new garland made of Rs. 1000 notes. Kanak forces Dulaari to make Viplav wear this garland, and the atmosphere grows tense. Viplav is unimpressed but goes along with the ceremony, accepting the garland. Later, during the ritual, Viplav playfully insists that Dulaari make him wear the garland made of 10-rupee notes, indicating his disapproval of the lavishness.
Dasharath speaks about some ritual, and Viplav announces that Dhaani’s family is now his family, further hinting at his commitment to her.
Scene 3: Dhaani’s Phone Call with Viplav
Later, Raj and Prakash inform Badi Amma that they must leave to make other arrangements. Badi Amma inquires about Dhaani’s conversation with Suwarna. Dhaani explains that Suwarna said she would try to attend the ceremony. Dhaani then calls Viplav, but he reminds her that according to tradition, it’s not good to talk before the wedding. Dhaani teasingly asks when he started believing in rituals and customs. Viplav tells her that he bought a dress for her for the rasam, and Dhaani happily agrees to wear it.
Viplav, however, says he remembers that she has never said “I love you” to him, leaving Dhaani flustered. She starts to say it but becomes shy. Viplav encourages her to say it with love. Dhaani hesitates, asking him to say it first. Viplav, eager, prepares to say it when Dulaari approaches. Dhaani hurriedly disconnects the call, and Viplav is left frustrated, thinking Dhaani still hasn’t expressed her feelings.
Dulaari then takes the phone, and Viplav, trying to remain lighthearted, declares “I love you” loudly. Dulaari, ever the prankster, asks him to say it more loudly, much to his embarrassment. Dhaani smiles, feeling as though she heard him say it.
Scene 4: Kanak’s Plot Unfolds
Kanak, furious about Viplav and Dhaani’s wedding, arrives at the temple. She prays for strength to stop the wedding and refuses to let Dhaani, whom she refers to as a “witch,” marry her son. Kanak’s obsession with preventing their marriage grows as she makes plans to disrupt their happiness, even considering using a lamp for some dark ritual.
Meanwhile, Shalini and Sushma visit the Ashram, and Dhaani greets them warmly. Sushma asks where Kanak is, and just as she asks, Kanak arrives, bringing gifts for the occasion. Dhaani touches Kanak’s feet as part of the ritual, but Kanak dismisses her, saying that there’s no need for such gestures. The rituals continue with Dadi making Dhaani wear a chunari and doing her tilak. Shalini gives Dhaani anklets, and Kanak presents a gift for Dhaani, covered with a cloth. However, when Badi Amma inspects the gift, she is horrified to find a goat’s head hidden inside.
Dhaani is visibly shocked and horrified, and Kanak smirks in the background. Dhaani rushes to her room, distraught by the cruel gesture. Badi Amma, furious, confronts Kanak, calling it a sin to bring such an item into the house. Kanak defiantly says that Dhaani should not marry her son if she is unwilling to accept their rituals.
Scene 5: The Upcoming Conflict
The episode concludes with Kanak informing Dulaari that for the marriage to happen, Dhaani must eat goat meat, a requirement that Dulaari fiercely refuses. Kanak warns that if Dhaani doesn’t comply, the marriage will be called off. Dasharath enters and reprimands Kanak, scolding her for forcing such an unreasonable ritual on Dhaani.
In the end, Dhaani decides not to tell Viplav about Kanak’s cruel actions. The episode ends on a romantic note with Dhaani and Viplav sharing some tender moments, hinting at the deepening of their relationship despite the challenges they face.
Precap: The tension between Dhaani and Kanak escalates as Dhaani is faced with more difficult choices, while Viplav remains unaware of the full extent of his mother’s manipulations.
