He vows to uncover her relationship with Anurag and cruelly suggests that her past is the reason her marriage never happened. Ishani questions why he brought her home in the first place, and Shashwat coldly replies that he did it only for Pihu’s sake. Ishani finally speaks up, saying she has tolerated enough insults. Shashwat mocks her, asking if she believes Anurag would ever marry her and claiming Anurag would only use and abandon her. Pihu counters that Nandini does not truly know him. As Pihu asks Ishani to go to college, Shashwat coldly announces that Ishani will no longer attend college from that day onward.
