Surjo Remembers Shaoli’s Birthday

Noyontara On Starlife, Friday 6th February 2026: At the start of the episode, Surjo decides to celebrate Shaoli’s birthday just as he always does. He speaks to her photograph, telling her that for today, she alone will occupy his thoughts. Feeling guilty for forgetting her birthday earlier, he places a garland on her picture and apologizes sincerely. Soon after, Lata calls Surjo into the hall, and he leaves the room, unaware of the tension his absence will spark.

Shaoli’s Anger and Noyontara’s Suspicion

Shaoli is angered by Surjo’s behavior and resolves to teach Noyontara a lesson. Meanwhile, Surjo questions Noyontara about why she brought a snake basket to the outside toilet. Noyontara explains that she found the basket there and even asks Surjo to smell it. When he does, he recognizes the scent as similar to the snake that once entered his room. Lata immediately accuses Noyontara of bringing the snake into the house herself, pushing the basket toward her.

Questions About the Snake and the Outhouse

When Surjo mentions that one can play a conch shell to attract a snake, Noyontara questions why she would ever do such a thing. She agrees with Poulomi, while Ashalata calls the incident a miracle she will never forget. Noyontara insists that the snake basket was deliberately placed in the outhouse. Shashodar questions Surjo about the matter, and Surjo suggests replacing the lighting in the outhouse. Noyontara adds that the area should be cleaned and that the servant should be allowed to stay there, a suggestion Surjo agrees with.

Safety Measures and Growing Distance

Noyontara wonders what she should do now, believing poison may have been prepared there earlier. Surjo promises to fix the CCTV camera as well and leaves with Noyontara. She feels that Lata should not use the outhouse for the time being. Surjo then admits that all he wanted was a peaceful birthday celebration for Shaoli, while Noyontara explains that her only goal was to identify the culprit. Surjo tells her to take care of herself and sarcastically asks her to continue playing detective—away from him for now—before walking away.

Shaoli Attacks Noyontara

Soon after, Shaoli arrives and attempts to suffocate Noyontara using the garland. Struggling to breathe, Noyontara screams Surjo’s name. Hearing her cries, Surjo rushes in and questions why Shaoli’s garland is in Noyontara’s hands. Realizing that Surjo believes Noyontara damaged the garland, Shaoli releases her and steps away.

Surjo’s Warning to Noyontara

Surjo gives Noyontara water and helps her sit on the bed. He asks what she expects from him and firmly tells her that she cannot put herself in danger just to get his attention. He reminds her that he is her doctor, not her husband, and scolds her for her childish behavior before leaving. Shaoli, watching from the side, laughs at Noyontara’s condition.

A Call From the Police Inspector

Later, Surjo announces that he will make a cake in the kitchen. While there, he answers a phone call and learns that a police inspector wants to speak with Noyontara. He goes to Pratima’s room and hands the phone to her. The inspector tells Noyontara that he believes she can see ghosts and asks her to meet him alone. He then ends the call after giving her his phone number.

Noyontara’s Decision and Lata’s Scheme

Surjo asks Noyontara about her response to the inspector, but she tells him not to think about her today and insists she will not involve him in her matters. Surjo leaves once again. After speaking further with the inspector, Noyontara decides to meet him at the Shiv temple. Meanwhile, Lata overhears Shaoli expressing happiness about the day. Lata claims she is happy too and ominously declares that tonight she will separate Noyontara and Surjo.
